At the Altars of Saw

I want explore the essence of saw. Visualize the scene that materials split away when the saw cut into it, and the feeling of violence and pressure.

This is a terrain model I made for my tool, the saw. I rendered the final image.

I think the saw has a strong sense of industrialism and power. Industrialism reminds people of order and steel, so my model has a strong geometry and includes steel elements. But the saw also brings a sense of fear and power. Many horror movies and games will use the element of the saw. If you observe the work process of the saw will find it chaotic, so I want to visualize the working process of saw to bring a sense of industrial, power, chaos and magnify them.

In the following content, I write the introduction of making the altas as well as a norvel about a research team collecting data from the altas but finally get corrupted and insane due to the evil power. I added the infomation of the altas to the diary of one of the reseachers.
